Two Houses, Four Courtyards: Modern Living in Bankya.
This project is all about simplicity, functionality, and connection. Located in the peaceful town of Bankya, these two houses are designed to make the most of their three floors and two courtyards, creating a home that feels open, modern, and welcoming. The steep terrain of the site played a major role in shaping the design, influencing both the layout and the way the spaces connect.

First Floor: The Social Space.
The first courtyard is the heart of the ground floor. A jacuzzi takes center stage, surrounded by practical spaces like the Entrance Hall, Garage, Fitness & Spa Area, and even a Wine Tasting Room for special moments. On the upper level, this courtyard connects to an outdoor terrace with a BBQ area and Living Room — perfect for gatherings or relaxing evenings.

Second Floor: The Quiet Zone.
The second courtyard is all about calm. Located on the middle floor, it’s framed by an Office and Guest Bedroom, offering a peaceful retreat. An open staircase links this courtyard to the Living Room below, keeping the space connected while maintaining its tranquil vibe.

Top Floor: Private Spaces.
The top floor is designed for privacy and comfort. Two Bedrooms overlook the second courtyard, while the Master Bedroom features its own terrace with stunning mountain views — a quiet escape within the home.

A Design Shaped by Nature.
The steep terrain dictated many of the design choices, from how the courtyards are positioned to how the levels flow into one another. This natural challenge became an opportunity to create a dynamic layout where every space feels connected to its surroundings.

Simple Living, Thoughtfully Designed.
These homes balance shared spaces with private retreats. With courtyards that bring light and nature into every corner, they redefine modern living in a simple yet meaningful way.
