Flat S01

Mona is a two-bedroom flat located in Sofia, designed for a single professional in his 30s. The project reflects a balance between warm, natural materials and sleek, modern functionality, with a focus on creating spaces that are both elegant and practical for everyday living.

A custom-made entry niche was created by modifying the wall of the second bedroom. This functional centerpiece features a built-in bench, coat hangers, and storage for shoes, ensuring a clean and organized entrance space.

The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces seamlessly. The focal point of the room is a bespoke TV cabinet, which houses air-conditioning, a space for books, and even a turtle habitat. The kitchen design is minimalist yet practical, with a large island that eliminates the need for a traditional dining table. Materials include oak wood, light beige MDF, and travertine stoneware tiles, tying the space together with neutral tones.

The primary bedroom features soft beige tones, oak finishes, and floor-to-ceiling curtains for a cozy yet refined retreat.

The home office doubles as a guest room, with a standing desk, built-in shelves, and a sofa bed for flexibility.

The bathroom features travertine-style tiles, a floating oak vanity, black metal accents, and a large frameless mirror for a clean, modern look.
