This compact apartment is a perfect example of how thoughtful design can transform even the smallest spaces into functional and stylish homes. With a living room of just 16 sq.m. and a bedroom of 11 sq.m., every detail was carefully planned to ensure comfort, practicality, and aesthetic appeal.
Living Room.
Despite its modest size, the living room includes all the essentials for modern living. A compact yet functional kitchen blends seamlessly with the space, while a round expandable dining table provides flexibility for meals or hosting guests. The seating area features a small couch and an armchair, creating a cozy corner for relaxation. To maximize functionality, the coffee table doubles as a pouf, offering additional seating when needed. The design balances practicality with elegance, making the most of every square meter.
Bedroom.
The 11 sq.m. bedroom is designed to be both cozy and highly functional. A double bed takes center stage, complemented by a custom-made wardrobe with an integrated niche for books and personal items. To accommodate work-from-home needs, we included a compact desk that fits seamlessly into the layout. The design emphasizes simplicity and comfort, with clean lines and clever storage solutions that keep the space organized and uncluttered.
Entryway.
Even the small entryway was optimized with practical solutions. A slim shoe cabinet and ottomans with storage provide organization and convenience for everyday use. A wall-mounted mirror visually expands the space and adds the finishing touch to this compact yet functional area.
Aesthetic Harmony.
The apartment’s color palette combines soft beige tones with natural oak finishes, accented by touches of black and gold for a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. This combination creates a timeless look that feels both modern and inviting, proving that small spaces can still have big style. This project highlights how smart planning and creative solutions can turn even the smallest apartments into functional, elegant homes tailored to their owners’ needs.
